Wrong

What if we are never wrong? If the doubt and shame we feel is merely misdirected consciousness– focusing on what we lost instead of what we gained. Too often there is seemingly only one correct outcome, one way that things will work out. Unless we begin to live in a world that is only forward, bolstered beyond belief by everything that has ever happened to us and especially by those things that in the moment seemed “wrong”.

I have been wrong so many times, unless I decide that I’ve never been wrong.  Or as Mark Twain puts it: “I’ve been through lots of terrible things in my life. Some of them happened.”

Moment of Gratitude: Maybe what the new year holds is not a guarantee of things working out, or even of good things to come. But maybe it does hold an opportunity to shift consciousness, and to find mass gratitude for all the things and people and experiences that have turned out to be “wrong”.
